Make a phone call from Windows Application using c#

I was wondering if it is possible to write a c# windows app to make a phone call when conditions met. Currently the applications displays the info when the condition is met but the next phase requires to send an alert to users by calling their office/cell numbers. Any c# example or direction will be helpful
