Visual studio 2010 and WPF using alot of CPU

shoorrock asked:

After scouring the internet for awhile, I may be the only one experiencing this, so here goes:

Whenever I change a single line in a XAML file; VS will take alot (and I mean like almost a minute) of CPU time at 50% on a dual core, to do something. It's really annoying as it slows down the system.

This happens if I open a new project and create the default xaml form.

Is there a setting or something that I'm missing? My laptop gets so incredibly hot that I almost can't use it when working in xaml. Working in code with no xaml windows seems to be ok.

Thanks for any help.
