How to insert customs control ro listview

Dear all,

I'm looking for a solution how to load data from sql database to a costum Control and then show each of them in a list view or something else.
Can someone explain wlhow to do?

What I have tried:

I'm still trying since weeks, I try already to create a custom control, but when I want to but it into to listview, I get a dialog that is noch possible and the control got lost in the toolbox, after reload VS I can see the control.
