Hello all,

The Application internally launches MsWord to allow users to edit documents. Generally, end users use the book marking feature .Once people are done with their job, the application processes the word document to find data between book marks to further process it. This arrangement, works fine with Win7and Office2007.However application fails in processing to find data between book marks when the combination of Win7 and office2010 is used.

As a work around, we noticed that when we changed the user account Identity ( present in DCOM properties of MS word 97-2003 document) to Interactive user ( by default it was set to launching user), somehow it worked for us. We do think that this is not the permanent solution.

Please advise, if there is any safer solution to the above problem. We would not like to ask our users to alter their DCOM settings !!! can we automate from our application.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Sameer
