how do i tag a question?
I spent a lot of time composing a C windows question and got stuck trying to submit it because of tags. I tried hard to find out how to assign tags, but in vain.
Will this question survive the tag-block?

Solution 1

There is no "tag block" - it's probably that you are trying to enter tags that don;t exist, and your reputation it not high enough to let you create new ones.

This question for example is tagged as "Windows" and "C" which is presumably what you wanted to start with?

If you want to format code block, please use <pre lang="c++">//your code here </pre> tags.

The best way to format code block is to select it and use code widget.
