Why can't I be applicable like John? - Me, April 2011 ----- Beidh ceol, caint agus craic againn - Seán Bán Breathnach ----- Da mihi sis crustum Etruscum cum omnibus in eo! ----- Just because a thing is new don’t mean that it’s better - Will Rogers, September 4, 1932

I suppose to give the question the benefit of the doubt, they may be talking about which client hardware will be seeing the web app. But even in this case, what about folks who are writing databases or other servers that have web service or API based interfaces. This seems like a somewhat myopic question.

If you take the 1999 definition of Super Computer, most servers nowadays could be classified as Super Computers.

I think that it is not clear that a SuperComputer (like Cray) is a server. maybe yes, maybe not. Any way, 3.5% if very low. I work normally for server software and I miss that supercomputer is a server. I think that the survey should include a server option.

Although there is the form factor and the browser compatibility issues to take care of, I'm currently targeting the web as a whole, not on a specific piece of hardware.
I need to make sure my applications have the less restrictions possible, and can be used widely and independently of the platform.

I'm am currently writing code for a wearable device that uses an ARM based microcontroller in C that provides data via Bluetooth Smart (TI CC2540 using custom BASIC scripting) to an iPad/iPhone (iOS 5 XCode 4.2) and an application for Windows using C# (VS2010).
My head hurts...
It was broke, so I fixed it.

I seem to find myself using mind programming techniques such as intentional thinking. I find it helps in getting stuff done. Not just work though. It helps with any kind of task. Kind of like when you were a kid pitching a baseball and you imagine NOT hitting your brother with it.

Making something do useful work on a range of platforms should also be an option.
The Curiosity EDL code might run faster on my phone than it does on Curiosity, but without the parachute, skycrane and heatshield, my phone would be lucky to make a small mark on the surface (more likely just pollute the atmosphere).

Yesterday I installed the Windows Mobile SDK in Visual Studio to get some work done on my new phone.
I haven't actually done anything with it yet though, so does it still count?
I'm building desktop apps mostly in my daily job.
It's an OO world.
public class Naerling : Lazy<Person>{
public void DoWork(){ throw new NotImplementedException(); }
}
