Having been prompted to look into the 'Other' entries (some spammer has found the most obscure page on the site to post) I see that the 3rd most popular other product to LEARN is VB6. Either there are a lot of smart asses in this survey (highly likely) or some seriously misguided individuals.
INMHO you don't need to learn VB6 to reverse engineer an application, the only valid reason to be involved in VB6. No I don't want to hear about all the poor bastards out there supporting VB6 apps that have been running for a couple of decades!

VB6 is depressingly common in some parts of the world.

Looking at the list of non-answers, ignoring the usual replies for herbal viagra/weight loss/hair gain/body part enlargement remedies, that seems statistically likely:

IMHO: the need for VB 6 is for maintenance reasons. There is a lot of old code running, but it cant be converted to VB.net.

Don't know AngularJs, but did you already looked at Durandal (http://durandaljs.com/[^])?
In my opinion the SPA framework to work with (using KnockoutJs and RequireJs).
Best regars,

Hi Keller,
Yep, I know about that. But the problem there is I have to know or learn 2 or more JS frameworks, if I go on that path (Durandal and KO). But when I learn Angular I don't have that problem. By using Angular its self I can develop SPA. And most importantly That project is backed up by GOOGLE

hi,
valid points! Already got knockoutjs in my backpack, so this was not that a big deal.
Also the google-backing is good!
So it seems that I need to look at AngularJs as well

It was just a little word play. SPA => spa (that massage like thingy).

Used to think so too but i just got a far better paying job that requires me to learn silverlight. The much more positive bit about this is that while learning silverlight, you are in a certain way also getting into WPF & XAML(both WPF & silverlight extensively use XAML). So i am lietraly being paid to learn WFP & XAML, in the process getting ready for Windows 8 development.
