Python is not "Normally" used on Windows systems(except perhaps XP).
But ask Linux/Unix people, it would be used all of the time and for several cool tools.

I use to call some Windows-API dlls.
So I prefer to stick to C++.

Sometimes the same is true for me.
And that's when I turn to C++/CLR which, by the way, is sadly missing in the list.

Haha, that's just taking the easy way out
This reminds of back in the late '90s when I wrote a client/server kiosk system for public computers using massive amounts of Windows API calls...in VB6! Pretty painful when the callback functions return data types that your language doesn't have, imagine the insanity of bit-level data manipulation in VB6 just to get a return value. You can learn a lot by using the wrong tools, but it sure ain't fun. So yeah, stick to C++

... but it's no fun anymore.
Yes it's powerful and such but there's no fun factor.
For me the language that makes me smile now is JavaScript.
It's fun, it's powerful and specially for being a functional/dynamic from it's core.
It needs to be mastered tho, way much more than most developers are even aware of.
It won't give you a hand when you mess up
Happy coding!

I quite enjoy using TypeScript these days (see, the combination of "large stick" and "my head" finally worked )

I recently wrote an app for storing recipes, of course Chef[^] was my language of choice!
There are times when I consider Brainf*ck[^] to be the best candidate though and I believe 9Gag was written in LOLCODE[^]
It's an OO world.

It would take a reasonably well-educated person to write programs in Shakespeare[^] - I understand why you would choose Brainfuck...

First I clicked on "C#", then "javascript". "C#" got unselected. I scared. Again I checked "C#", then "javascript"...
Ohh "radio button". OK.

Most likely it's a new innovative language which replaces all others, platform independently and works well also in non-connected internet of stuff.
Must attend a course, webinar, or something to get a good head start

I believe that it's FORTRAN - Not FOTRAN!!!
At least it was 30 years ago when I learned it (and haven't used it since)...

Yes, its depend upon the condition and requirement, e.g. for web based application JavaScript will always be faster than C# as its client side and For desktop development you can not use JavaScript as easy as C# so I think Language selection will vary condition to condition
