I have to admit that I haven't read any of these articles. I am sure they are all good ones, just that I am not interested in the topics selected. Maybe if there are more (100?) articles to vote on, I will be able to pick one or two that I already read.

Is he right
1) that there are too few articles to vote on or
2) that he is too lazy?

I couldnt't vote so far as I havent had time to chk out the 20 articles.I havent read any of them. So it means havin to go through 20 of them and then voting

I guess we are all a bunch of slackers
If you look at the list of articles there is a natural decreasing progression in popularity as you get to the bottom of the list.
It appears that like Nish, most of us have not reviewed all 20 articles but unlike Nish some may not be taking the time to do so either.
Hey Chris, how bout if you randomly mix up the list when it is displayed so that there is at least some random probability that those articles currently listed in slots 15-20 have a chance with us lazy bums.
Gotta go. I have some articles to review

That's because the list is sorted by votes

OK So I assume that is your story and you are sticking to it

so what about listing "weakest article first" on the Vote form? yes, the next time one of those fab competitions comes around

You can safely vote using the same tactics as everyone else: vote randomly on one of the articles listed as top of the list.
I wonder if the US president elections also follow that pattern...

People vote that way???

Well, just compate the voting form and the results - at least until now it's a 100% match. The more article is listed on the top the more votes it gets.
It was similiar with the previous contest actually.

Hmmm, sadly your observation seems to be correct.
The articles on top keep getting more votes and the 15-20 articles are not even read once
