If the dinner is light the sleep duration is 5-6 hours else it will be extend to 9 hours

Where is the link to it?
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. You like that? You go right on staring at it. I prefer looking at galaxies.

Well, this is a good way to study the change of habit
I do not fear of failure. I fear of giving up out of frustration.

The German word for "hibernation" is "Winterschlaf", literally "winter sleep". I am trying my best for a good "winter sleep", but when I got up this morning and looked out of the window, the leafs on the plants were still in autumn colors, and snowbells and croci are still not flowering...
Well, perhaps some day, I'll be able to sleep from October/November to February/March. I have to try harder.
Oh sanctissimi Wilhelmus, Theodorus, et Fredericus!

I'm curious what period the answer was for you?
During the working week only? Only on project deadline? All the time (weekends, holidays included).
I usually sleep between 4-6 hours, but this for the last let's say 5-6 years more then 90% of the time. Sleeping out is max 8 hours and only happens rarely.

My wonderful Samsung S2 watch has a health monitoring app that you can't uninstall. Due to this app the watch needs to be charged every night so I take it off and put it on the induction charger on my bedside table - therefore it can no longer monitor my health and has no idea how much sleep I am actually getting!
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

Then you need to build a bed-sized induction charger yourself

I probably need that for myself, never mind my watch!

More often is 7 or a tidbit less, when I or my wife are too tired we usually go for a full 8 hours and manage through the week.
On weekends... anything from 9 to 11 hours.

I'm so jealous of you. I have a child alarm on weekends, usually she will make noise at 7 or 8am, if we lucky, 9am.

Yep, 2 to 4 hours and there's been times when there's been no sleep. I just have too many things to do during the week. I do take a nap for 2 to 4 hours everyday after work, but not quite everyday.
Currently, I'm on holiday and slept 11 hours last night.

Weekends feel good.
I am not the one who knocks. I never knock.
In fact, I hate knocking.

Since I left the military year's ago, I don't get much night-time sleep. I take a power nap in the afternoon for an hour or two, if possible.
I have not been able to sleep in past 5:30 am for over 19 year's now. Ugh.
For those who get 8+ hours a night, good for you.

That's usually in the daytime - but since I (we) would be paid for that time, it may make sense that you left it out of the survey.

14 years ago, I slept an awful lot less than I do nowadays. 14 years ago, I was 14 years younger.

8 hours - well slept - awake with all senses, ready for a good day
7 hours - ok, no real problem, ready to face the day
6 hours - the norm for workers - grey days, slow but grinding health decline
less than 6 - difficult days and rapid health decline
