Office Politics can be fun. Watching people try and screw each over is fun - especially when they try to use you as a weapon in their war. It can be fun to try and manuever both sides to meet your own ends.
Luckily I'm a contractor, so I can keep out of most of the office politics going on around here. It's still fun to give them a little prod now and again.

Well quite rightly it seems to have gone now. That either means I was imagining some stupid question which had been asked ten - yes ten - times or someone is finally weeding out the, er, weeds. I should congratulate the person though - voting ten times would be quite a challenge.
I'm not schizophrenic, are we.

Yep, it's amazing how people can type so much into a small text box and it doesn't even cross their minds that something is not right...

Yes, at times I don't think people take these polls seriously.

You must realize that these Polls are important.

If your worklife is bliss then you should run and run fast!
What is the work worth if there are no challenges in it?

Right on.
I just wish that managers would stop putting unnecessary things in our way (like deadlines and politics )

Bliss does not neccesarily mean no challenges. My worklife is bliss, but it is very challenging, which is exactly what makes it a bliss.

It does in that poll
The question: What are your biggest workday challenges?
And the option: None - my worklife is bliss
Paul Watson wrote:

Then you don't fall into the bliss cathegory in that poll - either find the challenges you face in other options or just type yours as text answers if it's not listed.

I still agree with you Paul - the wording of the poll is dumb. I take the word 'challenge' in the poll sense to mean a hassle. The choosing of bliss means an absence of the hassles listed in the other options.

It may be dumb, but it's there.

Maybe...

It possible that you are quite correct. However, I was just playing words with the 'dumb wording' as it stands, and so you should rather look into the intent of the comment rather than drilling it so deeply.
