I realised at the weekend that I was born closer to the end of World War2 than to today.
That is so scary, especially as growing up WW2 seemed such an age away.

I have been with my wife over half her life.
She has lived with me more than she lived with her family.
Finally, I own her.
(Yeah right, truth is, She owns me, and I am happy to be hers).

On January 1st, we will begin the year 2013. Do you know what it has in common with 1987?

So true. But so did all of the other intervening years. But I'm after what 1987 and 2013 share, that doesn't exist for all of the other years in between.
