You could argue that anyone into "extreme sports" is a darwin contender, but from what ive read this is the negligence of the operators of this "experience" not the dead guy's (direct) fault.

I've a hard time feeling sorry for extreme sportsmen when they get hurt.
If you dress in spandex and run around mocking everyone else for not having a life then I get to mock you when your epic fail gets you killed. I'll watch it from the safety of my office on youtube. I might be out of shape, bored, and have no sex life but then I'm not dead in a plastic ball at the bottom of a cliff.
