Have you ever come across a person that pauses for a moment too long when saying something in passing (imagine somebody saying "hi" then staring at you for 5 seconds)? It feels a bit like talking to a close-talker, only it's temporal rather than spatial.

That 5 seconds is them trying to remember who they are supposed to be saying Hi! to.

No, typically I get the talkers... like, "hallo, I am my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die." Still kinda creepy though.
