Some facts...

Only 40% of the Underground is underground.

The Underground Station at Canary Wharf has a bigger volume than Canary Wharf.

I used to live mid way between Ruislip and West Ruislip stations and I can assure you that they are a good deal more than 200 yards apart.

Are double changes allowed? Then I'll go New Cross to Farringdon

Got to be better than the Portland rapid transit. Use to take an hour for a 20 mile journey, but that goes downtown. Only place the train seems to go fast is through the tunnels because I guess they are afraid they will run over somebody (who should probably be run over for being stupid) on the areas that are dedicated to the train. There are also quite a number of hairpin turns, which are just stupid.
