As you may know, (Kornfeld[^] posted about it yesterday), I was the lucky winner of the February C# Article of the Month Competition, and I would like to thank everybody who voted for my article - I'd do it individually, but I don't know who you are, and you do, so please pat yourself on the back from me.

My prize was a very wonderfull Lappie sleeve[^] (in the size of my choice, CP does 13, 15, and 17" versions at very reasonable prices along with a small range of other merchandise Here[^] and I urge you all to spend, spend, spend, and support the Hamster Christmas Sunflower Seed Fund).

Unfortunately, I don't have a lappie, and since that isn't included in the deal, the sleeve would just sit about the house (looking wonderful) until Herself decide to throw it in the bin... Sigh | :sigh:

We can't let this happen, can we? No...so I have talked it over with Chris and he has OKed me giving it to someone who will actually use it: one of you!

Now, there are a few of us here (thirty-seven real people and 10,486,300 sock puppets) so I felt the best way to do this would be via a competition!
It opens now, and closes at 08:00 GMT on Friday 28th, and I will announce the winner Friday Morning. I then tell Kevin Priddle who won, and he will communicate with them to get the address and size, and ship it out.

So how do you win? Simple! Just reply to this post, and the "best" reply is the winner. Which is the "best"? This is a complex question and the answer will involve the number of upvotes the message gets, how good I think it is, whether it is raining when I read it, and of course the size of any bribes I recieve. Anyone who actually manges to deposit money directly into my bank account will win immediately because I don't want them hoovering it dry...

Entries must be in English, except on Tuesday when COBOL is acceptable, and Lorum Ipsum is acceptable on Wednesday provided your username contains a "V" and an "X", but not an "A".
Your entry should complete the phrase "I deserve a CodeProject Lappie Sleeve because" in between one and 4000 words, but I don't mind if the words aren't in that order. Or indeed the letters. One or more letters may be missing, but the total number of missing letters must be prime (Spaces do not count in this.)

The judges decision is final! Unless I change my mind between now and Friday morning.

Have fun!
