Nice website, I will have to try it. But, I've never written code to test GET/POST/PUT/DELETE methods, I've used the Composer in Fiddler.

Unlike tcpreplay, tcpcopy is mainly used for replaying network traffic to servers either offline or in real-time.
This tool is mature and has been already used in many famous companies such as taobao and Netease in China.
BTW, it is free.

Can anyone recommend a visual Diff/Merge tool which supports unified format (GNU Diff -u option) patch files? Windows platform essential, bonus points for multi-platform.
I have in mind that it should have a menu option to produce a patch file for the files currently open in the compare display. A bonus would be the ability to load a patch file and visually display the changes it would make, allowing you to selectively merge them.
Failing that, a Diff/Merge tool that supports generic shelling to external tools with token pasting for the left and right paths.
Does not have to be freeware - I will pay if necessary!

Will Java tools do the work??
There are some java based diff tools i'm aware of... Just can't remember the names... one is also integrated inside Netbeans.

Thanks Pat!
Since posting this question I found Winmerge which does what I need (and has very nice explorer integration). But thanks for the Beyond Compare tip as having directory sync integrated too is attractive. My objection to paid-for software is not actually paying, but the restrictions on use imposed by the licensing.

Just have a look on TCC[^] It's nice fast and very small. And the code produced is highly optimized, fast and small.
Please Note: You will need to get mingw api headers and create your own libraries for import.

looks ok, just registering now but its very confusing jumping back and forth from the website to a blogspot blog. you might want to host the blog yourself.

Found a slick graph editor yEd[^]. So far have only used the Flow Charting capabilities but if the rest is as good it's well worth the download.

I just tested it for 5 minutes
- the GUI is very intuitive
- no need to read help to do something
Good work of yED, indeed.

Hey everyone. I'm looking for (preferably free) ASP .NET-based task management software. I've done several Google searches and I cannot find anything. Perhaps I just didn't query the right terms so maybe you can help out. The problem is simple. I work in a warehouse environment. My boss has created a task list in Excel for himself, a few other members of management, and me. Periodically he sends an updated list based on when each person has completed tasks, we hold a meeting every Friday to discuss our progress, etc.
I'm looking for something that mimics this functionality, but can be installed on our local web server. We use Server 2008 R2 + IIS + SQL Server 2008 Express. Basically, we just need to allow users to create projects, tasks for each project. Each user who is assigned a task just needs to be able to update their progress in the application, maybe a commenting functionality, and so on. Nothing complex, just basic task tracking in a collaborative environment.
Any suggestions? I will continue to Google today. And I'll modify this thread if I find one. Thanks in advance!

Just came across https://www.draw.io/.
You can make diagrams like you would in Visio, but it's free and you don't need to install anything (runs in your browser). You can export to an image.
I'm thinking of using it to improve my articles with some diagrams.

Agreed, a very good tool. It also supports integration with your Google Drive account.

Just cleaning out an old HDD to put in a External 2.5" USB case to use with my WD TV Live Media Player[^], when I couldn't delete an OEM FAT32 partition using the built in Disk Management tool.
I have Acronis Disk Director 11 Home[^] but couldn't be arsed walking the 10 or metres to the main desktop. So searched around and found MiniTool Partition Wizard Home[^].
Worked a treat, worth having a look.
