When an author wants to publish a new version of an article which rather is a tip/trick in my opinion, should I approve it as an article anyway because the previous version already was approved as an article?

It depends. If the article is older, like from the time before we even had Tips (I think pre-2011 or so) then I would leave it as an article. If it's a newer article that you feel belongs as a Tip, please report it as "Wrong type" and perhaps leave a comment for the author.
Thanks,

I use below code:
sSql = String.Format("SELECT BuyMemoNo,ProductID,ProductName from BuyProduct where BuyMemoNo = {0}", TextBox6.Text)
Call FillList()
Public Sub FillList()
With ListView1
.Clear()
.Columns.Add("ColumnHeader", 50)
.Columns.Add("ID", 50)
.Columns.Add("Product Name", 300)
FillListView(ListView1, GetData(sSql))
End With
End Sub
Now show 'FillListView' is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level.
I am using sql server-12.
how i can salve it?

- You posted this in the Article Writing forum which is not the correct forum.
- The error says that it does not know what FillListView is. You need to fix that code.

Your code is vulnerable to SQL Injection[^].
NEVER use string concatenation to build a SQL query. ALWAYS use a parameterized query.

Hello,
In the way of our commercial activity, we whish to use you “ASN.1 Editor” software (http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/4910/ASN-Editor).
Could you please confirm us the two following questions ?
- The use of the “ASN.1 Editor” software is free of charge, no license is necessary to buy.
- The use of the “ASN.1 Editor” software is free and can be used for a commercial activity.
Best Regards

Thanks very much for your message. As we said previously, we have reached out to the author to ask them to pick a license, but if they do not pick one or respond, we cannot pick a license on their behalf, nor answer your query.
The best course of action is to leave a message on the article itself.
Thanks,
Sean Ewington

It's published under this license: CPOL[^]
To my understanding, the answer to both your questions is yes.

It is not published under CPOL.

For me there's the CPOL-link at the top and in the "License" section.

I swear it wasn't there before ... this is embarrassing.

Look at the bright side: That's better than inconsistent license-display for different users

I was just wondering what the best way to submit or add my tutorials I've been working on all month would be, should I reproduce them all here as separate articles, or submit one article with links to them, wonder which would be preferred and would appreciate some advice - if want to have a look then visit https://comentsys.wordpress.com/[^]if that helps see what I've been doing, I've been doing this all month long and want to make sure as many people get to see and use them, don't make anything from them at all and are free to use just want more interest.

Articles published on CodeProject must be actual articles, not just links to other items (there are very rare occasions such as articles that list reference books).
So: publishing your content as separate articles would be the way to go.

Great, that sounds good to me as was starting to think that would be the best way so will be happy publish them here once I have them all done on my blog, thanks for the advice!

If you are going to post them as blog anyways... why don't you do it in a friendly CP-Format and feed them?

Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

Thanks, could do that but decided to expand my submission to be articles and re-written including code for all of them that I don't even have on my blog, a good little bonus for here, is nice to be able to contribute after being a member for so long and not having much to show for it!
