Can anyone help me how to navigate a web page which has frames using C#. I need to click on a hyperlink automatically on a particular frame within the table of a website.

do you know the id of the link and the frame in which the link migh reside? if you do then you can access the link using window.frames[...].document.getElementById("....") and call its click method from there. I'd suggest though that you look into Jquery. It is rich Javascript framework that will be a part of Visual Studio 2010. It makes traversing and manipulating DOM elements very easy. More information on Jquery is http://jquery.com/

The remote server returned an error: (550) File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access)..

GetRequestStream[^] on msdn with example to upload a file.
Dude this is the 4th time you ask this question, there are plenty of examples on the net; if you don't figure it out this time then maybe you should re-evaluate your entire code.

Yeah that documentation, its a bugger, only wish they didn't hide it under the clever name of msdn[^]. If they only had a way of remembering it easily, as if the internet where a book and that would be a page and you could bookmark[^] it..

Hi guys!
I wonder if anyone can help me figure out a thing because I think my head will explode soon if I keep head butting my keyboard
The problem is:
I inject from C# a DLL (coded in C) into a process.
The injected DLL hooks Winsock and give recv/send packets back to the controller (the C# program) through SendMessage/WM_COPYDATA.
So far so good, it works flawlessy.
Now I have the inverse problem. How can I give data back to the DLL?
For example the controller receive a specific packet from the DLL and tells it how to act. I dont want to add too much things to the DLL but keeping it pretty simple/small and make the controller do the hard work.
Hope I explained my problem enough
Thank you all in advance.

If I were you, I'd post the error here.

Use parameters instead of concatenation[^]

it will be nice if u paste ur error msg here though i find a prob with your code. I just want to be sure

It would be even nicer if you didn't use SMSSpeak to write your posts.

What is the error?
I somehow feel it is related to conversion. Check if txt is a valid date.

1) Oracle expects date to be in a certain format.
If your table name is MyTable with column MyDate, use bind variables to pass values. Do this:
sql = "Insert Into Mytable(MyDate) Values(:Date)";
OracleConnection conn = ...
OracleCommand cmd = conn.CreateCommand();
cmd.Parameter.AddWithValue("Date", Convert.ToDateTime(txt));
...

You can also use the 'TO_DATE(..)' function from Oracle SQL.

hi
writing another language in textbox whitout using system.globalization or api
this is may be????
???
??
?
.

You need the System.Globalization reference, there's no way about that, but it doesn't have to be too difficult.
First, the actual language has to be installed on the system, then you can do something like this:
InputLanguage.CurrentInputLanguage = InputLanguage.FromCulture(System.Globalization.CultureInfo.GetCultureInfo("ar-JO"));
This is how I localize a textbox to Arabic

thanks but i know that
i want to write another language that not depend on to system.globalization
|
|
|
|
|
As far as I know, that would be impossible (without reverting back to some API, System.Globalization or otherwise) because they would not be installed on the system. Short of performing Malicious activity which would be installing said scripts/languages on the host system without their knowledge and then utilizing it, if you find out do tell please.

Why?
It comes as part of the .NET Framework so it is already there.
What is reason for the constraint that demands that you do not use System.Globalization?

Just out of curiosuty, can you change the language on the fly eg
Get the data from somewhere (DB)
change the culture (possibly for the label only)
write the data to the label.text
change the culture back.

Certainly, I do that all the time. Obviously, you'd want to know before hand which languages you want to display so that you can install them (most latin languages are installed together IIRC but I might be wrong).
Stuff with script like Arabic, Hebrew and Thai need to be installed before hand. After that, its easy peasy, essentially with the snippet I posted to the guy. You might want to invest sometime to decide between variant and invariant culture e.g. AR as opposed to ar-JO (the second being Jordan specific) which might (not in Arabic cultures though) have different defaults such as currency symbol & format, date format etc.

Thanks - luckily I have not had to do any multi language apps (well 1 but it was before .net).

You're welcome Internationalization is one of the few aspects I would consider myself adept at and that's out of a need. It is not fun though.

OK, my problem is...
I dont know how to hide a <div> when a dropdownlist change the index
I thought I can use javascript to solve this problem, but somehow... i dont know how to use it.
Here the code
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head><title>TESTING</title></head>
<script runat="server" language="C#">
void Page_Load(Object s, EventArgs e){
}
protected void DropDownList1_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, EventArgs e){
}
</script>
<body>
<div id="div1"></div>
<div id="div2"></div>
<form id="Form1" action="TEST.aspx" runat="server">
<asp:dropdownlist id="DropDownList1" runat="server" onselectedindexchanged="DropDownList1_SelectedIndexChanged" >
<asp:listitem>Choose div to be hide
<asp:listitem>Hide div1</asp:ListItem>
<asp:listitem>Hide div2</asp:ListItem>
</asp:DropDownList>
</form>
</body>
</html>
When the user change the drop down into "Hide div2", the <div> with id div2 will hide which is style="DISPLAY: none"
How to use this thing like javascript where the page will not be refresh or postback<<
