Hi Erik,
I am looking for some samples which is doing similar work as I did -- e.g. adding SOAP header for some input WSDL file. But failed to find any ones very helpful.
Do you have any recommendations?
regards,
George

public void Display()
{
return;
}
Although you don't need the return in this case, here it'll return automatically when it's in a codepath that has no instructions left in this method.

Hi,
<br />
public void Display<br />
{<br />
<br />
}<br />
would be its equivalent.

in short, if your method returns void, you shouldn't exit, it will exit after automatically after }.
When you return something (object, integer, ...) you should return that type.
private void MethodNoReturn(){
}
or
private string MethodReturnString(){
return a_string;
}
hope this helps...

Hi,
In the explore window if I sort some files descending I get the following...
<br />
file 19<br />
file 20<br />
file 21<br />
file 186<br />
file 187<br />
file 189<br />
If I use Directory.GetFiles() it retrieves the files in this order
<br />
file 186<br />
file 187<br />
file 189<br />
file 19<br />
file 20<br />
file 21<br />
Is there an easy way for me to get files in the same order as a descending rearrangement in explorer?
Cheers,
Mark Brock

Sort the array you get from GetFiles() . You can do this via Array.Sort() .

Hi Greg,
Thanks for the help, I decided just to use drop and drag instead to solve the problem, but I'll keep your advice in mind for the next time I run into this problem.
Thanks,
Mark Brock

Using what? An image? A video camera? A robotic arm?

Hi and good evening guys,
I have a couple of problems of which I want you to help me with
When reading drive info like...
DriveInfo di;
...
...
di.TotalSize; //gives me a strange number that isn't in Byte, KB, MB or even GB!
1. How can I read the size of the drive in say, MB?
2. How can I convert an DEC number into its HEX equivalent?
Many thanks guys!

di.TotalSize should give you the drive size, in bytes. What number do you expect and what are you actually getting?
You can display a number in hex by using:
int decValue = 65535;
Console.WriteLine("{0:X}", decValue); If you want to save the hex value as a string, you can use any of the following methods:
hexString = decValue.ToString("X");
hexString = string.Format("{0:X}", decValue);
hexString = Convert.ToString(decValue, 16);
Enjoy,

The startup class of my WinForms application is clStartup. I also have a class called clLibraryApp.
At the top of clStartup I have:
public class clStartup
{
public clLibraryApp oLibraryApp = new clLibraryApp();
public static void Main()
{
}
}
When I open other classes and type 'clStartup.', and the intellisense for clStartup opens, I don't see oLibraryApp listed.
All namespaces are the same throughout the project.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Everything makes sense in someone's mind

Where's your namespace for this class??

Coleman.C_Sharp.Library.
It's set this way in all classes.

Your Main method is static, and your oLibraryApp is an instance member. You don't have an instance of clStartup.
Declare it as static.
Also ditch the silly prefixing, it reduced legibility of your code.

I am trying to hide/unhide a calendar that I created inside a gridview. I would like to get it hidden when I click the "Update" option in the gridview. Now after click the "Update" the calendar comes up because I don't have any code defined.
I was thinking if I add some code inside the RowCommand event it could works but I was unable to find the control. I tried this but I got errors in the syntax.
Calendar Cal = (Calendar)Gridview.Findcontrol("Cal1")
Cal.Visible = false;
P.S. I created a button named "CalMABD" to bring the calendar up after click it I tried adding a "onclick" event but I have the same issue to findcontrol of the calendar.
Here is the HTML
<asp:templatefield headertext="MABD" itemstyle-horizontalalign="Center" xmlns:asp="#unknown">

<asp:label width="60" font-size="Smaller" id="LabelMABD" runat="server" text="<%# Eval(" mabd")="" %>"="">
