Well, the way I suggested was simple. Your database design still sucks, however.

Why you don't redesign database?
Instead having 200 columns in one table, separate it and create some tables manage by relations between them.

I am not sure that you can, if you can, it will be in javascript, and it will not be reliable.

I am not sure but if you didn't give expiration time to cookie it will automatically remove when your application close.
May this help you

I didn't mean to imply that ( but thanks for the 1 vote ). I had not heard of it, and so I was hoping for a link so I could find out about it. Thanks for the link.

He is right. A cookie with unspecified expiration only lasts till the current session.

We encrypt the config in one machine using, export RSA Key. we import into another machine.
But we can issue a Decrypt command at the deployed machine and see the content if logged in as administrator. How to over come this?
Thank you,

Make sure your network is secure. If you could not decrypt it, it would be kind of useless, right ?

Thanks,Yes, we need to decrypt only using ASP.Net System Account
Which means i want to protect against done using other accounts or manual.
Or some other ways to protect against doing decrypting outside IIS.

I am not sure if overloaded methods are supported, I think I've found they are not.

They aren't although you can sort of get around it by adding a Name property (I think) to the web method attribute in the WS but there is little point to this unless you are reusing the web service interface class from something other than a web service as the proxy for the web service will generate methods using the name property rather than the actual method name.

Here is a simple Example
Retrieving Data Using a C# .NET DataReader
But, before asking this type of question you should search in google First.

Hi,
I need to know how to fool a data pager.
I have a grid which is bound to a List, and since I am not using object data source I need to manually manage the paging event for the grid. now my grid is paged using datapager control, and I have a scenario.
when I do a paging event, I take the current page, and the pagesize to get the exact items to bind to the grid. using skip and take method, I managed the paging well. but the problem comes when I bind the paged rows the datapager does not work anymore, since its taking the data from the grid which only have the exact rows, it tends to render that it does not have a next/prev page.
now I need to fool the datapager of the exact rows that I am paging or have a fix datapager fields.
any suggestion would be great.

Best bet is to write your own paging control, and perhaps use a repeater, so you have more control over what gets rendered.
