I call the DOS Main from out my MFC Application.
The DOS Prog should run hidden(no visualization) in a thread (not process)
but thanks nevertheless for your answer

how are you achieving this ?

|

I make a AllocConsole in a Thread, then i redirect the STD_OUTPUT_HANDLE of the hidden console to stdout then i start simply _tmain(...)
In my MFC applic i can read the output with the function "ReadConsoleOutput" and it works, i get
the characters in a buffer of CHAR_INFO

i repeat my question : HOW ??
|
|
|
|
|
char ** args;
args = (char**) malloc ( 2*sizeof(char*));
args[0] = (char*)malloc(50*sizeof(char));
args[1] = (char*)malloc(50*sizeof(char));
strcpy(args[0],"C:\\.....");
strcpy(args[1],"\restart");
_tmain(2,args,0);
|
|
|
|
|
is your program calling its own _tmain() recursively ?
|
|
|
|
|
Nope, the MFC Applic calls the _tmain of the DOS-Project
I call the _tmain in a thread, which was created by clicking on a button

U should read some books which discuss about Windows Internal viz Programming Applications for Microsoft Windows by Jeff Richter,it has mentioned who calls winmain or main

While filling you can use clipping functions like SelectClipRgn etc.
and then u try painting with any gdi functions like (fillrgn etc)
If u can Dream... U can do it

Drawing the larger circle first and then the smaller one on top of it with background Color is not what your tutor wants you to do, I guess?

which is the video format ur using ? , and what will be the output pin format of ur filter ? i guess you may have many input pins and 1 output pin .
If u can Dream... U can do it

yes
I am using many inputpins one output pin . i take input from
many live capture devices . bitmap text any one

U havn;t told me the videformat.. anyway suppose ur input pin gets imag data (bmp), i think u can use GDI functions like bitblt for adding image or text to ur source image. then copy this bmp data to ur output imediasample . it might work
If u can Dream... U can do it

hi,
these are simple things that I have done . now I have two input pins

You've stated you've made many filters and these are simple things.
So what are you having trouble with exactly?
If you have two video streams and you want to overlay one on the other, then take each
frame from one stream and draw a frame from the other stream on top of it.

Visual studio 2005 generates a manifest file automatically. But in 2003 and vc 6.0 we will create it separately and include it in the resource file. So you will have to delete the RT_MANIFEST from the resource file. This will solve your problem.

After you remove the manifest from the resources, you can add the extra manifest entries you need to
the project settings.
See Project properties/Linker/Manifest File

Have a look at TinyXML[^], it is a nice little XML parser.

Hi,
Go to site www.perfectxml.com.It contains a good code to write xml.You have to use msxml and the
IXMLDOMNode objects.Initially you may face problem owing to different versions of msxml available.
A few days back i created the code for creating,reading and writing xml file.First try on you own,if still you are not able to i am ready to help but with hints above you can start.
