I always lose weight when I am off on my own, I spend a fair bit of time off contracting. I don't know what it is, the wifey buying chocolates all the time, or just the contented slump in front of the TV that does it, but I always put on a lot of pounds when I am back home.

Went onto 1and1 to check my email.
Tried the usual link webmail.1and1 and this redirected to a status page.
Thought this was a bit odd, so tried the alternate email.1and1 again this redirected to a status page.
Can you guess what the status page says?
"No technical issues are known currently."

I did ping them via twitter......Status page has now changed and they report issues with their Control Panel, so obviously something going on with their systems.
Think their maintenance outage planned for last night has broken something.

So...how many of us are guilty? I've got as far as the "Tools that need a manual" - for complex embedded software with only a two line by sixteen character text display, you better believe you need a manual.
But (much as I hate it) I write a damn manual. But I've never tried to explain how to read it!

Yeah the early ones were pretty lame I lived about 4 miles from work and when I got my first one just for kicks thought I would let it lead me to work, same thing wanted me to make a wrong turn and then who knows what would have happened. The new one I just got was from a truck stop, was on sale and is pretty danged accurate.
