My fav was actually a shish kebab, and the firm did onions with mint, in fact it was damn good food. Really good infact. And the 'elephants foot' wasn't bad either.

Upon the recommendation of harold aptroot I posted some pictures over at imgur. I wanted to get these out there for my father but I thought maybe some members of the community might like them also. These are some of the pictures I took yesterday at the Texas Folklife Festival in San Antonio. It's a yearly festival that celebrates the various cultural contributions that were made by the people that settled in this region. The caveat is that the pictures may take some time to download. There are 37 pictures total. Completely SFW but I cannot vouch for other shared pictures on the site. Note that I am an indifferent photographer at best but your comments are welcome.

Thanks Mike. It is a lot of fun. I was there for 5 hours and did not see everything there was to see. I am not sure that it is possible to see everything. 5 stages of entertainment all going at the same time. I missed the old west show because I was watching something else and got there just as the sheriff was doing some final cleanup. Oh well. I guess there is next year.

All this kind of thing is OK, but I find it a bit sad that you have to look to the past.
I would far rather look to the future, and the funny thing is, while all you lot are looking back, the bit you are looking back to has its eyes full set on the future.

I have never seen a woman with a notebook in a bathtub, yet, and I don't think I care to, unless she was reciting poetry, like Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass #19:" "I Sing the Body Electric."
In spite of one ex-wife for whom the toes were erogenous zones par excellence, I have never found toes attractive, my own, or others. But, perhaps it was just the WASP pseudo-Calvinism I was sauteed in for eighteen years.
