But the Torygraph as kindly explained how remote and distant the International Space Station is from home. Yes, at 250 miles above the Earth, the ISS is nearly as far away as Scarborough.
But it is still safer and more welcoming.

Only very, very briefly!
It orbits every 92 minutes at about 5 miles per second, so unless Scarborough is also running away from London really, really fast it's going to be 20,000 miles away in half an hour or so (using Top Gear Maths instead of a calculator)
