I finished watching a random Monty Python video just prior to reading this thread, so naturally I read all these comments in the various voices of the Python troupe. It was extraordinarily entertaining, what with all the non-sequiters and whatnot.

It's not swindling at all. It shows that cats have a natural intuition about how things work. You don't think much of it because it's absolutely normal for us humans to have it. Not so much for animals though.

Varanus Salvator. While the venom of these critters would (usually) not be fatal to adult humans, the bite would almost certainly carry a whopping load of bad-ass bacteria.
The Thai word for this beast is one syllable, and is considered a very "impolite" word (I'll spare you further exegesis); the word is so "unlucky" that people instead substitute a phrase meaning "silver and gold." Very unlucky to even see one of these, and even more unlucky to kill one. Said with the wrong tone, in the wrong context, to a woman, the word could get something a man considers quite valuable cut off.

Not 100% sure on this but can't you just set that in your theme?

You'd still have to change it individually for all the shapes.
And a "theme" isn't a professional tool, is it? It's a toy for kiddies to play with on their computers, and it includes things that you either can't or don't want to export to other computers.
Visio has templates, stencils, etc. -- all pro tools, which can be used in a professional document-management environment, and all getting more and more buggered up with every release.
When they release a stencil full of emojis, I'll start looking for other alternatives.

In Word, you can, by using templates only, but not other places, like visio.
Well, you can, I suppose, if you set the font for a file before adding anything, and then go to every shape you have and edit the font in them -- but not only is that amount of work not an option, but it stands a good chance of being reverted every time there's even a minor update.
Even saving templates with fonts set doesn't help; the default keeps changing to that ugly, horrible crapibri.
It used to be that you could export an ini file, and edit the font in there (but who needed to? It was already Arial). I spent over an hour, today, looking for that option, but it ain't there.

don't know if this helps or not. Hope so.
I do think it is might sucky of MS not to have an easier way to do this, but I am not surprised.
Edit: the link I provided is shite. I don't call mucking with registry settings a viable solution. Sorry. You are on your own.

I was looking for "Put all settings in an ini file"! (I even extracted all strings from the exe, to search for it)
Mind, i shouldn't have missed it. It's tucked away at the bottom of the Advanced page, but it's not exactly hidden.
I've got no problem working with the registry; it's almost a daily thing, for me.
But let's hope it works, and I don't still have to edit hundreds of shapes.

It wasn't where the article says it is, in the registry, but the article's for v.2002, and I'm using v.2016 (wishing that I was using 2002!)
I'll try it out a bit more hardcore when I'm at work, tomorrow.
