Explain me how C# differs from VB, except for some keywords; they're both scripts, depending on a bloated version of vbrun300.dll that's called "the framework" and run PCode inside a virtual machine?

No, seriously - apart from your somewhat sarcastic description of the .NET Framework, I actually agree. There is no real difference between VB and C# - Just syntactical.
