What worries me is the intro: Microsoft wrote: As you know, our team truly appreciates your feedback, and we’re always working to open up more channels of communication with you. Your insights help us improve our solutions and – just as important – be better partners for you.
If that's the feedback channel they listen to (instead of beta testers and users, whom they traditionally ignore) then you'll be in a group composed of Vista and Windows 8.0 fans who love the Ribbon and SHOUTY MENUS ... your choice.

I got invited to something similar at one point (not Microsoft though). I didn't like the non-compete/NDA stuff they wanted me to sign. Probably worth reading the terms and conditions before you accept.

No, no experience of any sort with it. I would have two concerns : how much time will this require and are NDAs to sign. I would not be willing to spend much time at all and I would refuse to sign a NDA.
That's just me though. For all I know, you might have no problems with either of those.
