The surest way to find what is wrong with your software is to put it into production and let the users test it for you. There are usually so many of them they're sure to find every problem.

Simultaneously, this takes care of the all-important "J. Kass Factor", which is where users do things that no rational and sentient being would ever do - and cause problems no one could anticipate.

This week's first puzzle my first thought of solution was OriginalGriff But the num of letters didn't match. After that I couldn't move in any other direction.

I've been noticing that it doesn't seem to do anything now - websites can figure out what country I'm from even with it on. Mad | :mad:

(I now use Opera, which seems to be working fine.)

I used to work where the owner adored opera - so it played in every room, all day, every day ... until he went on holiday when the CD was yanked, replaced with actual music, and used as a frisbee for the dogs.

No, no - he used to be a Ships Pilot back in the day, on vessels like the Queen Mary before he got into electronics design.

Unfortunately, he passed away last year and the world is a sadder place - he was a "true boffin": mad as a hatter, but good with a circuit diagram! He used to ring up Bill Gates in his garage (pre the DOS days) and yell at him because his code was so bad. Laugh | :laugh:
