getting control value from table cell with javascript

hi i have genrate a table dynamically with javascript and each row contains a input textbox control
with ID and i want to loop through and access the value of each textbox at button click.

for (i; i < Table.rows.length; i++)
{
var oRow = Table.rows(i);
???????????? need control value here is there any way to get control here
like oRow.Cells[0].......
}

can you please let me know how i can get the value of a control which is in TD section of a table i can access the table with javascript and all its row but dont know how i can get control from cell.

Sorry one more question, is the Text box in a form? if so it is referenced like this:
form_name.input_name.value

From memory (from an old bit of code...)

var numOfRows = Table.childNodes.length

var myRow = Table.childNodes[0];//first row

var numOfCells = myRow.childNodes.length;

var myCell = myRow.childNodes[0]; //gives you first cell

var numOfControlsInCell = myCell.childNodes.length;

var myControl = myCell.childNodes[0]; //gives you the first control in the cell

Im developing a web application sing Mambo CMS.
the problem am having is that i cannot seem to get the update database code right.
when a member is registering i would like to update multiple tables of the mysql database simultaneoulsly, please provide for me a proper syntax to do this

you have to do it one table at a time. But do u want to insert information or update what is already there?

Hi everyone Smile | :)

I want to create a class that will be used for drawing a pentagon as per given edge length, x, y position etc. through Actionscript 2.0 in Flash 8 or Actionscript 3.0 in Flash 9,

Details:
I will ask user for following input:
1> current movie
2> new movie name
3> x
4> y
5> edge length

what I want is:
create an empty movieclip with given name first, then draw pentagon at the x,y position with the edge with given length and then put it on the curr_movie.

Is there anybody who know this?? If yes then please give the reply.

I am waiting for it.

problem with IE 7

Hi,

The mailto protocol in my web page which was working perfectly in IE6 is not working in IE7.

Problem Details:
The href attribute contains around 300 characters. Here goes the tag.
<a href="mailto:me@company.com?subject=Hi&body= A 300 character long body">Contact me</a>

However, if the no. of characters is reduced, it is working perfectly in IE 7.

Can somebody help me solve this?

Well I must admit i havnt heard of this, but the fact that if the no. of characters is reduced it works indicates that it is a bug.

What do you mean by "not working"?

Standard question #2:
What error message do you get?

Are you sure that it's the number of characters that is the problem, and not the specific characters that you are using?

Do you have any characters that should be encoded to be in an url? For example, an url may not contain spaces.

Here are the answers for your questions.

1 & 2. What do you mean by "not working"? What error message do you get?

After I click on the link, I don't find any response. No error message as well.

So I tried copying the tag mailto:me@company.com.. with the 300+ chars in the body and tried it directly on the address bar. It said "Could not perform the operation bcoz the default mail client is not properly installed". However, when i reduced the no. of characters and tried it in the address bar, it started working.

as for your other questions,
i dont use any specific characters. n nothing to be encoded in the url as wekk. i tried it on all windows platforms vista, xp, server 2003 etc. it gives me the same problem no matter what the content is. it depends only on the total characters.

i am totally confused!!..
