I believe the footer links should not appear for that post and also it should be made sticky so that it keeps floating around for all pagination actions. What do you feel?

Could this possibly be moved to the right edge next to the poster name, etc? I keep clicking it by accident when trying to select the next message.

I originally had it that way but found it very unintuitive. Having it right next to the message expander link, to me, makes it clear that you're pinning the message, not, say, the member.

Could you at least move it to the other side of the message type or new post icon's then? that would put a bit more physical space between it and the expand message link, reducing the chance of an accidental click, while still leaving the association to the message apparent.

Just a minor thing also relating to pins. If you pin an OP of a thread then unpin, the background colour for the thread title gets lost

See, I wasn't going mad 
Steps to reproduce
* Open any CP page in FF3
* Hold Ctrl (notice the Lounge link changes to Soapbox as expected)
* Whilst holding Ctrl, press T (opens a new tab)
* Release Ctrl
* return to the original CP tab
* Notice it still says "Soapbox", and doesn't return until you press Ctrl again
Perhaps you need a timeout if the keyup key isn't detected within a set interval

No worries. You only need to complete the official specification of how the Lounge button flips back and forth with the Ctrl key, but when an intervening keystroke is pressed, it acts like a toggle; just need to hit Ctrl again, and all's well.

On the forums there is a link 'View unanswered questions in the...'
Next to it (on the left) there is a rectangle (just gray borders), my natural feeling would be that this is some sort of checkbox but clicking on it does nothing.
Would be nice if it was tho, check it an you only see the unanswered questions, uncheck it and you see all.

A checkbox next to the link that filters the forum all/unanswered questions would be nice to have

The problem there is that the load on the server would be way too high. We've already had to do some fiddling with the current page (hence it's slightly simplified display format)
So instead I fixed the image
