QA comments - sorry to bring them up again, but I just noticed that < and > characters get consumed by the HTML when you add them to a comment. So when you write a comment asking for a code fragment in <pre>...</pre> tags it looks a little silly!
Since there are no "<" and ">" buttons as there are with a "normal" message, you have to manually type them as < and > in order to see them in the resulting comment. For a beginner, this is not obvious!

90% of the stuff on there I've never heard of and never used, of the remaining 10% I can't vote on it because I'm forced to vote on the other 90%. Is this just a thinly veiled piece of marketing fluff or an actual survey? Do you want people to just randomly click away on the stuff they've never heard of?
Yesterday they said today was tomorrow but today they know better.

After reading this thread, i went to the survey section(though i couldn't find a direct link on homepage to the survey in question, which all together can be another topic!). I saw this survey[^]. Went through the options.
I too didn't knew most of them. There should be an option that takes care of such scenarios where OP has no idea of any or most of them.

The books question's answer choices of Wrox and Apress was extremely incomplete. At the least the following three should have been there : Addison Wesley, Microsoft Press, Manning. I had to vote for None of the above.

Ah okay, that makes sense now.
I went to the poll via the Daily newsletter. And it was not very obvious from the wording what this poll was about. Code Project's Members Choice Awards sounded like the ASP.NET Pro Mag's reader's choice awards. So basically, only those entries from the Catalog are included.

That would work but in terms of useful information gathering I think a "Never heard of any of these choices" would be good as well because then you could go back to those people and say "hey! You should advertise more here because a significant part of your target market has no idea who you are".
My feelings as I filled it out were "never heard of any of these" or "why isn't product xxx here as a choice" or "I don't actually use that technology or need it even though I may have heard of those".
But I guess not applicable no opinion would get the survey done.

Since yesterday, i don't see the panel on CodeProject home page that used to show the articles/blogs pending in queue for approval. Is there some change made? Is it same for everyone else or just me?

Can you see it now? It could be there were none to approve (I see two in the queue at the moment, but I know Sean's lurking in wait)

No. The panel is entirely missing.
Earlier, there used to be an empty panel even if there were no articles to approve.
Currently, it's like a normal homepage (just like the user is not logged in.)

I see no "Articles Needing Approval" pane, not with FF3.0, not with IE7, and I tried CTRL/F5 as well.

I too am not able to see ANA. I haven't been able to view them since I returned to CP after my recent absence.

If I'm not mistaken you have to be gold (or silver) in the author reputation.
I saw that box disappear as well when the new reputation system got implemented
