I don't think either. I have created a project with to two controls in the project. The project is a class library that will hold a variety of "Controls" extending UserControl... Maybe it is Scenario 1. The user controls do show up in on my solution palette but with the default cog image. Does that help Henry. If now and I will try again to clarify.

I thought that this might be the case.
What you are getting is the correct behaviour.
Whilst the Library containing your controls is included in a solution, the system does not use the assigned icon. It always uses the Cog icon.
To find out if your icon assignments are working you have to manually install your controls into the Toolbox.
For the easy way to do that take a look at this[^].
The 'standard' way to do it is to right click on the toolbox, in the section where you want your controls added, select 'add items' or 'choose items' depending on version of VS. When the dialogue appears click the browse button, navigate to and select your dll and then click OK.
Before doing either of the above, you might also want to right click the toolbox and select 'Add Tab'. You can then call it 'My Controls' or whatever you like, to keep your stuff separate. If you do this, when you right-click to add the controls, make sure to right-click in your new tab, so that the controls are added there.

Either create an object array as Harold sugested, or create a class that holds the various types you need in it's properties and create an array of your class - this will save a lot of boxing/unboxing.

Not yet; C# 4.0 brings in Tuples, but I don't know how these would interact with arrays and it hasn't be released yet

You can't put a class name in a using, only the namespace.

You need to be specific about exactly how it isn't working. I'm going to assume that you got an error that said something like Are you missing an assembly reference?
If they are then you have to add a reference to the assembly the class you want to use is contained in.
To do this, right click on the project (in the Solution Explorer) and select "Add reference..." in the context menu. In the dialog select the "Projects" tab and then select the project the class you want to use is in.
Your using should then work.

Make sure the class you're trying to use is marked as public, otherwise it won't be visible outside its namespace.

I have to list boxes...and i have a datagrid with binded to complete table..and i am using DataGridCombocolumn with displaystyle as nothing to display the values from master tables in relation instead of their IDs...
On selection change event of second list box i put this filter...values in both list boxes are selected...it shows correct values in debug mode........
MyBindingSource.Filter = "Column1="+cbCol1.SelectedValue+" AND Column2= "+cbCol2.SelectedValue;
it gives following error
Syntax error: Missing operand before 'And' operator.
