I guess you answered "No, I haven't (but I thought about it)"?
I selected the option since my son is too young but after voting, realized the survey is not about our own kids necessarily, but says kids around you. But yeah, same answer since my brother and my wife's brother don't have kids yet.
Cheers,
Vikram.

For me is not the same...
I think about it / thought about it, is still an active action that I (or you) will do...
My point is... the action has to be started by the kid itself. That's my "IF they show interest", none of the answers or the text in the survey makes that point.
Encouraging the kids to follow my steps is not the right way. For me the right way is to help them as much as I can once they show interest for something, even when it is not my path.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

No way I'm getting near kids

Kids are great!
The best decision we ever made!

Plus: You can't return them.
OTOH: Grand kids are great!
If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs, perhaps you don't understand the situation.

Babies are great! But I couldn't eat a whole one.

"But think about the children!"
"What about them?"
"I don't know, just thought I'd mention them."
I think that's a conversation in Monkey's Island 4

"I don't have any kids!"
As for my cats, they like to use the computer, but so far, all their code has had bugs and syntax errors in it...

But then she became 13...and 14... and her interests... changed
Today she's an encouraged tester of my apps but as a job... no way.
She went with animals, working in a Zoo and she's happy there.
That's all, a father can hope for his girl.
