It maybe a version error or some updates or dependencies are missing in Visual Code,If possible try and install Visual Code again and run code.

Yes Concatenating SQL Queries are dangerous if some special character like '(Single Quotes) come in query then SQL query execution will throw exception.Try using Parameterized Query as discussed by Richard Deeming like using Stored Procedures.

I suggest you to insert new author name in database and then fill all book details belonging to that author. This will place less burden on user.

Check the number of columns are matching in both table and file.
Also column name matters a lot hence should be same in both table and file

in PHP page,json should be in string format,try if it works after converting to JSON string

but first properly configure email on google mail and there are some settings on GMail.That allows u to send mail from untrusted sources.You must have this enabled,else google keeps blocking mails

If not please add the same and check.

Please check for data correctness by executing query like email id.

Also please have a look on "Attendees".

Once you have done this you may move to coding part.

Also from what i see,the mapping with "Attendees" table is missing.If "attendees_email" is the column in "Attendees" then do add mapping.

Please try INNER JOIN ,it is much easier to read
