1.I know its F4 to open the property window...but my question is not how to open the property window my question is how to navigate in that property window.

2.you might be right about the readonly property...but if microsoft has given this it should be written somewhere in msdn but i dint find there in msdn and must be some purpose

i want to open a modal form in asp.net...I have a dll and I will use this dll in my different applications so I dont want to write the same code again n again so I want to use dll.This dll will open a modal form on some button click in my application.

I am developing this application for multiple Clients of Different Organizations.Databse will be same in SQL and location would be one that is our server only but because each organization will have their own organization data but database structure would be common for all and they will access their own database only.So,For different organization its connection string would be different.

Actually I want "string" value as a return not the "int" value as string.If I return an Int value as string is working but in actual I want the string value as return...For ex.I have a column Id but it has Varchar Value(AI01)
.If its an integer column and values are(1,2,3.....n) its working but varchar value not working...

Bala..I can use this method but the problem is multiple will user use the different database but all tables and everything will we same.So,i dont think it would be better the design time environment so,I m prefering This method....What is your suggestion about this???

Hi,bala thank u to give your precious time...I tried as per your solution but the same error msg and I changed in variable declaration "int? return_variable = 0;" and in the defined function "ref int? SQL_Ret" parameters as per the requirement to define the nullable
and error is at this line

thanks for your response to my posts...I know we can set the keyboard shortcut of our own in dot net but it only gives the key to set which is already defined or in menu.If you ever have worked in vb 6.0.Just open it and check the shortcut key to navigate through the properties if property window is open.

thank u for the answer.But my question is.Suppose I draw a text box at design time.As I Pressed F4 It opens the property window to set the property that i need.Now what I want in that property window Suppose i have to change its Name property but by default it focus on Its text property,Now i want to go its name property through keyboard shortcut...As it happens In vb 6.0.throught Ctrl+Shift+InitialCharacter.For More clarification pls post back.
