Use string strxml = "<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"utf-8\"?>";
Also check the encoding (utf-8 or utf-16).

You can't do this in a normal text box. Look for rich text box controls.

Why you need to open these files in notepad? You can provide a page where the user can edit and save the files using textarea or so..

You can also do the same, rt? You can show a file save dialog and save the file there. Also you can get the file type (MIME) and file name from the headers of the HTTP response.

Your code is not at all using the original image 'bImg'. Also it is creating a lot of unwanted variables. Please get code from some better source and use it.

The code is vulnerable to SQL Injection. Don't use query string values directly into a query, instead go for a stored proc..

While using GET method, you should not get the request stream. You have to pass the whole details as url itself (like www.abc.com/abc.aspx?id1=val1 ). For more details pls refer the article http://www.codeproject.com/KB/webservices/HttpWebRequest_Response.aspx

In that case, your target website is not able to process the request properly. Have you created this website? If yes try to debug it and find the issue with the server.

Try assigning Request.ContentLength as PostData.Length (no need to increase it by 1000)

You have to check the available web services in the TFS server. The path will be like http://[TFS Server]:[port]/VersionService/repository.asmx

You don't need the path to 'access' it. You can use the FileBytes property in order to read the contents of uploaded file.

I suggest you to go through the IIS log and check for any unauthorized requests, which is redirecting back to login page.

Tell us about the error you are getting. Also, in the code, you are not closing any StreamWriter handles, which can cause error saying that the file is already opened. A better place for enabling the timer will be 'OnStart' of the service.
