by the way this "left arrow sign" is one specific character , which looks like a "left arrow" in notepad and looks like "ESC" in notepad++.
when i tried to copy-paste , it was not showing at the time of paste .

i have to replace left side string into right side string in below text ..
In this text "left arrow sign" is one symbol which i could not copy paste so i wrote it in text ,its just one symbol. So please give me regular expression code to replace it .

"left arrow sign"*p0x0Y --> "left arrow sign"xxx"left arrow sign"*p0x0Y

Am i clear about my requirement , Original ?

Let me explain once again :-
i have 64 bit machine windows server -2008 and my project is a windows(desktop) application in .net framework 3.5 .Now i want to read some registry values .

these are the following outputs which am getting :-
path =SOFTWARE\xxx\Settings\ActiveDirectory\
RegistryKey regkey = Microsoft.Win32.Registry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey(path);
In platform target x86 regkey = null
platform target x64 & any cpu = getting correct value
---------------------------------------------------------

path =SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\xxx\Settings\ActiveDirectory\
RegistryKey regkey = Microsoft.Win32.Registry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey(path);
if platform target x86 , regkey = null
if platform target x64 & any cpu regkey== null


SA , i have limitation that i should use only platform target as x86 , so if i use x86 then what should i do to get registry value .
please let me know whether i am able to explain my actual issue .

Actually its standard .net framwork API CPPUSB.dll. It may be any event like card reader , finger print reader , Bar code reader... etc .
the main concern is that it should automatic execute the code , i can get the card swipe beep after swiping .
Is there any thing like timer , threads ...etc which i can use ... I dont have too much idea . Just guess.

Actual question is that i have implemented same functionality on button click . I mean first user will click on button then swipe the card .Its working fine .
But now i want to change the same functionality should work on after card swiping itself , i have to reduce the one phase to click on button . It should aoutomatic read card once card is being swipe .

is there any way to read manually rather than using xml parser ?
