ok thanks for the valuable information. In my application two types of logins one is user section, i.e he can directly go default page and access them,if his user name is listed in Database table otherwise he can't browse the application,

Another one is Admin Section in this section he will access more setting pages then user.
In this scenario, with out any authentication i could not handle the application, that's why i am going to either "Forms authentication " or "Windows authentication".
From the above comments, what i have understood is, if i go through "Forms authentication" the browser must and surely asking for the credential. so we didn't have any alternative over come this with "forms authentication".
To overcome this situation, i must and surely have to use "Windows authentication" am i right? (presenlty what i am doing).
But unfortunately ,it is also asking for username and password even though i published the application in my local iis in my own system.
From your point 2, it should be in same Active directory domain,here sure i am Same AD,because i hosted the application in my local iis only.
you said site must be in "Local intranet" zone, Is there any way that local IIS can be recognized as "non local intranet" zone?.

thanks for your valuable solution, but we are deploying the application in client location,In which we could not assign those setting to every system in local network. Here my questions are (1) Is windows authentication is mandatory to work with asp.net website in local network (2) is windows authentication mode is required to get the login Name and current domain of the system. But when i use the Forms authentication, the above code to get the current system login name returns null, it is only working with windows login. What is the reason. thanks

so can't we implement the windows authentication in other browsers without asking username and password ?

HERE in the above query, if we use directly "ctx.EmpJobPositions " instead of filtered "empJobPositionList" which is of type "EmpJobPosition" it's working fine, but if you are filtering the "ctx.EmpJobPositions" into "empJobPositionList" and do join with other tables it's showing above error. why?

i made lnkButton.Click += new EventHandler(lnkButton_Click); but no use, the click event not fired

I found that,instead of adding controls dynamically in loop "for (int i = 0; i < data.Columns.Count; i++)", when we add the Columns like "BoundField bf=new BoundField()" and add this into gridview it is firing the click event but if you add this in loop it is not firing.

here there is no html code, with the above two classes are enough to run the sample.. just you need to add one new "Default.aspx" page and past the first code in code behind.

the above code it self is what i wrote.

If i use the first code it creates the images in Image folder of the source code, i need to delete the all the images because we could not provide the space to all the images in the database. so i choosed to create the image in tempPath of the local system so those files will be destroyed by Operating system only. Am i right. But it doesn't taking the absolute path of the temporary folder instead it taking virutal folder (like - http://localhost:1808//Project folder//C://Users/AppData/temp/images/image1.jpg) which is not right.

can u suggest me a good solution to what to do. i am new to Asp.net

Actually in Excel, the innerHTML field containing the frame links like <link href="..." .../> only for the corresponding sheets.it doesn't showing the any content to search. that's why i can't able to find the text even using the innerhtml.Here in "href" path in link tag is encrypted way so we could not find the text temparary path also.i think u understand.

Hai Rob, thank you for your useful information.we have installed 64-bit office version in vista 64 bit Os,my application is running the project with the property "Any Cpu".In this case i could not open the office Excel(.xlsx) file embeded in winforms control(webbrowser control).it's working fine if i build the project as x86 type,but i could not make my Project as x86 type version because the project also running on 64-bit dll's, so i put it as any cpu. Here actually if i made my project as "Any CPU or x64" the .xlsx file opens as normal Excel file it's not loaded in webbroser control eventhough the 64-bit office installed.will please provide the another solution. Thank you

I am working with windows project , and i have different third party controls and their Corresponding dll's , and one Main project is linked with other C#library library projects as like 3 tier architecture.
how can i add these dll's as refernce and i also have to get all those dll's in the bin folder of the setup(To send to setup with dll's to client system) as like original MS installer setup,carries all dll's to bin folder.
i have used heat.exe to reference the some folders, it's working fine to refer but some of the dll's in GAC and Same Solution Project dll also have to get the reference how can i get those references (getting all the Dll's of GAC using heat is Work load and in MS installer setup project we reference the Dll using right click and add reference option). I tried to google so many site's but i didn't find any usefull answer.

Please give different options(solutions) with clear idea.

i passed like this so... it doesn't work but when the i gave the N in query it is acceptable.. like query="Select * from table1 where EmpName like N"+@parameter1;

Thank you For your Post.. but it is useful when i using normal Coding i.e getting data From DataBase and append it to DataGrid....
But when i am using the entity FrameWork it didn't return the SelectedItems in the DATAGRIDROW format it, returns the objectType of the related table ...

what should i have to do when i am using the EntityFrameWork...
