Just in 6 mins you understood how to code for a grid view in Blackberry? Or did you find the code somewhere else(which is good). But one of the guidelines for posting a question is : please use google or any other search engine, if you cannot find anything there also, or if you have problem searching with google, then you can ask here with some specificity about your problem.

I know there might be easier ways to do this event handling, but to maintain the code and add additional features(controls and their event handlers), I am handling all the event via a single interface. Anyway, what i want to achieve is display sine and cosine waves upon clicking the corresponding buttons. Please point me in right direction, ignore my code(if necessary), I am open to try other ways also, but I wanted to share what I have tried so far. Thank you.

No, I am casting there because 'listener[i]' will be a type of EventListener, from which my GraphListener is derived, so I think there shouldn't be any problem, becase I am passing ActionListener(derived from EventListener) object to fireGraphEvent method.

Yes, the problem is I wrote the code similarly in another application and it worked, but I can't understand why this is not valid here. Of-course in that application no graph was involved, but here also before involving my GraphPanel, the exceptions arouse.

First you have to understand what does the word 'virtual' means. And irrespective of the access specifier(public or private)/modifier(virtual or not), a destructor will be called when you call "delete"(for objects created on heap) or when the stack variables go out of scope. Please read polymorphism and inheritance and how they are used on constructor and destructor.

I think MFC is easier to learn and excellent documentation is provided. I am a beginner, so to start off with MFC is good, but I am trying to shift to Qt, because I see Qt being advised by many, for GUI programming. But I find MFC comfortable, may be because I have been working from the past 1 year with it.

What you did is meaningless, although it works. Event handlers are there for a purpose, they are called by your application, when the specific event occurs. So, calling one event handler in another event handler? Weird!!

LoadLibrary(Explicit linking of a dll) doesn't export class from a DLL, it only exports functions. You need a ".lib"(Implicit Linking) to link it to your project, then add corresponding header file.

Pointer or any possible entity in a language or language itself is never a problem. The problem is human perception and less knowledge. If you use pointer correctly then no problem will arise and also logic will be easy to implement. So, if you want to know what possible errors are with pointers, start writing some programs and find out if any errors and then post here if you cannot understand why error is happening. For more about pointers, try googling and after some basic tutorials look up this link

Then you have a lot to work on, because this is not possible with the API or some other commands. Normally used sampling rates are between 8 kHz (telephone quality) and 48 kHz (DAT tapes). The most fundamental parameter is sampling rate which limits the highest frequency than can be stored. You can refer "Nyquist-Shannon Sampling Theorem". This becomes a whole different ball game then.
From what I have read, sample encoding limits dynamic range of recorded signal (difference between the faintest and the loudest signal that can be recorded). In theory the maximum dynamic range of signal is number_of_bits * 6 dB . This means that 8 bits sampling resolution gives dynamic range of 48 dB and 16 bit resolution gives 96 dB. So, I do not think what you want to do is possible to do using the available mmio API or MCI API.

These are the types of questions that are asked in interviews/exams(in India) for freshers(to confuse them). Unfortunately, very few use this way of declaring objects. These days the question papers are trying to confuse the student(in many ways) but not to test his basic skills and approach to a problem.

If people studying in B.E. or MCA can understand this code, then they do not need help. Without the knowledge of Windows SDK or MFC programming you CANNOT write the code, even your instructor knows that.
I still wonder if these people know where to start. Simply having the code in hand doesn't help, try to learn about the basics of audio programming and video programming, do some basic applications. Even MS didn't build WMP v.10 straight away.
