The original problem was, there are a series of stacked complex controls which are all resized back to there original size on a reset event (another dev else created this stage.).

So the problem was to make the form a certain size, then re-size it back to it's original size.

If this stage wasn't performed then the form and the controls were different sizes. This made the form un-useable.

I seem to have cracked it with your help, so thanks, I really appreciate your time and efforts.
