Signing in to Code Project using EDGE, I entered my email address and password in the dropdown and when I clicked signin another page displayed asking for the information again. When I clicked on the password field EDGE bombed. I tried this several times and the same thing happened each time. I kogged on with IE and haven't had any problems yet. The problems I have with IE is that Radio Buttons and Check Boxes don't display and I don't like to make blind selections. Anybody have any idea why this happens?
I appreciate any advice or comment given. Jaxon7

What I have tried:

I tried using another Browser. IE allowed me to signin.

Don't use Edge. :)

In fact, don't use any Microsoft browser product.

I recommend Firefox. I would suggest Chrome as an alternative to Firefox, but MS selected the Chromium engine for their rewrite of Edge, and that can only be a "bad thing" (tm).

But seriously, I can login with Edge.

I switched from Firefox to Chrome some years ago and cannot recall having had any problems with it. I have not tried the latest version of Edge but may do so as a trial sometime.

I was merely bowing to my nature of being a smartass. I'm sure Chrome is a fine product.

Hey #realJSOP, Can't really tell where you are coming from. Yor suggestion seems to be just some more ms bashing but then you contradict yourself and admit to using EDGE. Thank you for you help. I downloaded firefox and it appears to me to be primitive

You mean the smiley after "Don't use Edge" wasn't a clear enough indicator that I was just poking you in the ribs?

Furthermore, I didn't admit that I "use" Edge - I merely tried it to see if I could see the same issue. So, let the knot in your panties loosen up, and you may find that your sense of humor will expand.
I believe this is the real answer to this question. Consulting my paper records, I realized that I was using the wrong password. The apparently overworked brain cells trying to login kept making the same mistake. I put them to bed to get some sleep and after a night of dreaming that I could not escape the Island trap until I entered the correct password, I awoke and brought up the Code Project Main Page. When I clicked on sign-in, the drop down dropped and I entered my email address and correct password. This time, The second sign-in page did not appear, instead I was successfully signed-in.
My conclusion is - this behavior, though unexpected, is totally acceptable to me. It appears to be a security feature. I want to assure everyone this was not a hoax, which is common in Chicago.
