create dynamic Subdomain on doctor registration

I have to implement dynamic subdomain on doctor registration.

Please help.

ex: If Doctor registered as Gaurav then I want domain like

www.gaurav.doctor.com

Without changing anything in DNS is this is possible? Because I read that to use subdomain you have to add wild card entry in dns.

Is this possible with the help of just URL Rewriting?

Solution 1

As per my solution you need not to create subdomain for each Domain.
just use URL Rewriting feature of Asp.Net, which will get DoctorID and accordingly ReWrite Url which will will behave like SubDomain.
