Please Help to create backup of sql database in C#

I am tring to create backup in of Sql Database using Asp.net C#

using
SQL Server 2008 - Backup and Restore Databases using SMO[^]

and
SQL Server 2005 Database Backup and Restore using C# and .NET 2.0[^]

but both the way in asp.net i am getting error as

This SQL Server version (10.0) is not supported.

I am using Sql 2008 and Visual 2008

please help
