fix headers in gridview

I have a aspx grid view . I have fixed the header of the grid view using jquery(Scrollablegrid plugin). it works fine but the issue is when i start editing the the grid , the grid header gets spreads which mismatches the header and content of the column.I have 347 columns.

any suggestion would be appreciated.

ya i do have 347 columns. shocked but that is the reality.

you mean, when editing begins, the headers change their width?

could you post your rendered html here + jquery code?
