In my webpage i have used a Fileupload control when i browse and opt a file, i have to take the entire file path and save it to my database.

You cannot do this, this is a internet security rule that cannot be violated!

Anyway the file path is relative to the client computer, and once the file is uploaded to the web server it is no longer relevant.

Yep might be, but i upload the file from either my server folder or my local and i just map tat path to access it in future and save it in a data table alone.

When i run tat in my local host, it works well and able to get the file path. Only on Live environment, it doesn't work.

Is there any other way?

1.When your are running your application locally is different then running on a web server.

2.As I know there is no way, like I explained in my solution above.
