I have received a code project email named "Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services?" with a watch video button; after clicking that I end up on a page with:
force.com platform as a service
Authorization Required
You must first log in or register before accessing this page.
If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password to reset it.
Of course I have no account on that site; moreover there is no link to create one (even "click Forgot Password" has no hyperlink).
But that is not the real issue; the issue is the fact that CodeProject should not promote third party news that are not accessible to everyone.

Can you please forward me that email to chris at codeproject.com?

We've talked to Pluralsight and it turns out it was a simple, regrettable link error. They wanted to show you something interested, you wanted to view it, the Gods of the Internet decided otherwise.
They are sad. They will make amends somehow.

I almost believed you; unfortunately I had to check and the Gods of the Internet were not involved because it happened again, but in another form.
Now I was sent to a page which has a small introduction and SHARE: Facebook, Twitter, G+.
Nothing else!!! No video!
I have no Facebook, Twitter or G+ accounts so, I cannot share, so no video for me!!!
I become so irritated and just hacked the damn thing - look what it is supposed to happen next:
form.onSuccess(function (values, followUpUrl) {
jQuery(this.formElem).trigger("ps.formSuccess");
var redirectPath = "http://learn.pluralsight.com/webinar-od-difference-between-azure-and-aws-thank-you";
And yes, the redirectPath works perfectly.
I know that not CodeProject is doing this; but the email came from CodeProject so it is partialy responsible (unless, of course, CodeProject tolerates this, and I am wasting my time here); but if someone gets a few emails like that, he will not complain, not unsubscribe, but take the easiest way: click the "this is spam" button.
P.S. Checked all browsers, the same behavior; I will send you a screenshot.

Let me pass this on.
And thank you. I appreciate you digging into this.

I am sure admins are aware of this, but where did all the votes went? The votes are no longer being shown...
- On the forum posts.
- On the "My articles" tab, the article vote counts are 0/0 (not shown).
Is this a bug or a flag for a new feature or something?

Looks like new votes are showing up - your message is now green. Older votes are still visible in the "My Messages" list, but don't show up in the forum.

Is it green[^]?
Votes on my profile forum, as well as others are not shown. The votes on articles (under Articles Submitted on profile) are also not shown. The problem persists.

It's green for me[^].
Maybe it's only showing new votes placed by the current user? Other messages that I've up-voted earlier today aren't showing any votes.

The vote on your message seems to have disappeared again. I've upvoted again, and it's now showing 2 votes.
There's something very weird going on.

Is it a bug again or does this come yearly ?
I thought i have confirmed my mail adress (also got several mails already by cp) so what's the point about it?

Not bug,not yearly. I received it today again after two months.

We ask for reconfirmation fairly regularly if we haven't detected that you've clicked on a link in an email (thereby automatically reconfirming that you still have access to your email).

Just a curiosity, why can't we add an image with the question ?
It should have an option for it.

You can add a link to an image because it's the users choice whether or not they want to follow the link. Unfortunately, not every poster is mature and there's a risk that inappropriate and Not Safe For Work (NSFW) images will be posted in a question - which could cause offense or, in certain cases, lead to disciplinary procedures if someone saw you looking at an eminently not suitable picture - no matter that you stumbled on it by accident.

Or is CodeProject duplicating the questions ? Are they supposed to be different Forums ? Or, do we just have a lot of double-posters (as well as the usual suspects who post the same question on the C# Language Forum) ?

Nope.

I'd have to assume this is the case.
They are separate systems

If they're in QA, are you sure they're different questions, and not the same question tagged as both "C#" and "C#5"?

Hi CP
I'm wondering why ToDoList[^] now appears in Web Development > Applications and Tools when it's a desktop application that used to reside in Desktop Development > Applications and Tools (which no longer exists)?

You're correct - there is no Desktop counterpart to that section, and you've touched on a huge issue we've been discussing here for a few months:
Do we even need sections and chapters anymore?
Most people search or find articles via links or Google searches. The views of the section pages are so minimal as to be an error bar on our graphs. Our aim was to have articles live in Topic sections so that you could see all the desktop, or web, or mobile etc articles in one place, but articles don't necessarily live only in one place. The taxonomy has become more and more out of date, confusing to new players, and limiting.
So: instead of sections why not simply have home pages per tag. Hit the "desktop" tag and you get all the desktop articles. Hit the "Mobile" tag or the iOS tag and you get all those articles.
Way simpler. Thoughts?

Sensible idea. If I am looking for articles on a specific subject thenm I tend to find Google is quickest.

As a personal opinion I see no use for the sections. I usually search by defining the most important keywords for what I want to find and from that point of view the sections bring no aid since they are too 'wide'. I believe that searching by using tags would be much better option. However, I wouldn't limit the search to a single tag. Instead I'd let the user to define all the tags needed for the search.
