I tried to email my article, using both gmail and yahoo email, but the email bounced back both times, even though there are no exe's or js's inside.
I then tried submitting via attachment on the website, hoping your staff would take the 10 seconds to unzip the file, and see that everything in the zip file is in order.
The article was closed, both times. Apparently, nobody looked at the attachment, though I included instructions to do so. The attachment contains an entire Visual Studio solution, and I'm not going to upload each constituent file, individually, must less worry about putting everything in the correct tree structure.
If nobody at codeproject addresses this quickly, I will simply just use github.

An email from codeproject arrived about 15 minutes ago, instructing me to email with the attachment renamed as .zipu. That seems to be working, as gmail bounced back immediately, before, and there is no indication of trouble this time.

when we hover over the "quick answers " menu we can see "fabric questions " in the list.
but so far there is "only one question" posted under the same, so still do we need the tag in the main menu ? It shall be replaced by a frequently used framework/Technology.

What Code Project app? As far as I am aware, CP doesn't have an official app yet.

I did a quick search in the Play Store. It was there, along with several others.

Why not? It's greyed out to indicate that it isn't available in this forum, which helps people understand it might be in others.

I changed some settings in my profile and I lost around 200+ points. Why ?

Probably you disabled the newsletter - that makes you lose the "professional user" status (as it's shown by the icon next to your user-name) and the 200-something points you got for subscribing in the first place.

Since getting enough points to be able to moderate pending articles, I have seen many submissions that are either just code dumps, or a series of instructions saying "do this, then do that", with no explanations associated with those instructions. As such, I tend to report these submissions as "Extremely poor quality".
However, even though these submissions do not come up to the quality expected of an article, some of them could, in fact, be useful. Perhaps if there were separate types of articles "How to" and/or "Code Dumps" that could be used to classify these, they could find their place on the site and perform some small service.
In order to encourage people to write a proper article, perhaps only offer minimal reputation points for each one approved.
Cheers,
Mick

The category you are describing looks much like the existign Tip/Trick category, and usually when someone posts a how-to / code dump that may be useful we ask the user to reclassify it as a Tip & Trick instead of an article.

Yes, I've seen that. But really even a tip needs a bit of explanation as well. Not an in-depth study like a full article, but at least some sort of summary about what is happening, and why, I think, should be expected.
Cheers,
Mick
