You know, I don't find the actual spam cleaning to be such a big problem, the filter works quite fine I find. And it's also easy enough to work on.
The mess comes afterwards, with cleaning up the spammers.
First check if they have been reported before or not.
If not, post about them in the spam forum.
Check posts from other members if other spammer accounts need to be removed.
Double check if it's a probable spammer or not. If there is no obvious reason for why not (as the proof is already gone), trust the poster.
Report.
If it's the tenth report, add a note to the OP that it's been removed.
Honestly, the spammer accounts should be allowed to selfdestruct removed using a simpler procedure.
I'll post a suggestion a bit later when I've thought it through a bit.

Precisely.

The reputation graph for this member is unusual: JaoquinPerkins - Professional Profile[^]
It jumps instantaneously from < 10000 to > 60000 and other strange artifacts.

I have seen that many enquirers have started using the "What have you tried?" in QA... and that's fine.
But...
I think it would be a good idea, to copy the menu of
B I U S small BIG code var < > & link [^] encode untab case indent outdent
to the second input box as well. Many of the users are posting unformatted code in that field because they don't know how to write the "pre" tags manually (or are too lazy to do it)

I noticed it in the Reputation History page. It tells me I had a member sign-in event at 3:15am, and it was actually 4:15am.
I suppose that if you wait for a month or so, the time will fall back an hour, and everything will be okay, but I figured I'd tell you about it.

There's a setting in your profile that lets us know if you're in daylight saving time. I've turned yours on which should help.
In the future we'll be making this auto.

As for me the time on CP seems to be one hour behind, regardless of the "Daylight saving time" -setting. Something I'm missing?

... when you post or reply to something in the weekly survey? Is it too serious a matter???

Yes - the surveys are deadly serious.

The user stats blurbs are only showing messages posted; articles, QA's, etc are showing as 0 for everyone.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

There's a quote button when doing replies, but it would be nice to have one for new posts as well where you can fill in name/text yourself.
from the markdown tips ">" should produce a quote?
[EDIT]apparently not[/EDIT]

Just paste the text (Shift-Insert) and you will get a popup window where you can choose from various formats including "Quoted Text".
If you know HTML you can also add the tags manually:
<blockquote class="quote">
<div class="op">Optional source here:</div>
Text goes here
</blockquote>
becomes then
Optional source here: Text goes here

shift insert could work.
The manual typing is just too much work . (I'm a lazy bastard )

Thank you.
You might have not noticed it because the popup closes when typing the next character.

Hello
I used "IMAP Client library using C#" im my software.
I read "Open Source Initiative OSI - Mozilla Public License 1.1 (MPL-1.1) :Licensing"
I have a question:
Must I put "EXHIBIT A -Mozilla Public License" in all copies of my software?
With thanks
