Its his view only. If some one states something it doesn't mean that its correct and you are suppose to follow it. As per as the question is concerned, you did it right. The explanation OP provided was not clear and you raised the appropriate Flag.
First of all, don't think what others are doing. Use Flags to report what you think. Further, if you are not sure which Flag should be raised where, then leave it. No documentation is available especially for Flags. I think its not required because the names are pretty clear.
- Unclear or Incomplete - Used as you did in this case
- Repost - Used when same question asked by same Member
- Not a question - Write code for....It should do.....type of questions
- Off-topic - (e.g.)How to delete my account? in QA.
- Spam/abusive - Advertising(Spam) or any abuse

It's not a question. It's a request for code. Very straightforward.

...should probably not show threads that have "Spam" or "Abuse" votes.
At the moment pretty much all it is showing is call-girl ads complete with phone numbers...

Earlier it didn't show messages with reports, so I think it has to do something with this[^].

I can understand that, but in this case since it seemed that no matter how many SPAM votes they got they wouldn't die - they were visible in the lounge for hours, and stayed on the Home page until I created a set of dummy messages to push them off the list. Perhaps a quick check on the cached items to ensure spamVotes == 0 before display? Just with that kind of material on written on the site "Front door" it's going to put some people off...

Look at the top right of this page.
Hover your mouse over your username.
When the drop down opens, click on "My Settings"
There is a "Change..." link right beside "Password" on the first page.
When you have set it, press the "Save my Settings" button at the bottom of the page.

Well...
I have a few tips and one article, normally a few files are downloaded every day.
It's now 2 days where I only see "Sign in Member" and nothing else, don't think that is correct.
I don't mind the reputation points but was just pointing out that it looks like if something is broken.
Greetings,

I am seeing the same. I use the points thing to see if anyone has downloaded my code (hollow vanity I know ) and as there are usually several downloads a day it is odd that the last code download I see was 6 days ago.
That may be what it is, but seems odd.

Why not to have Delete account button somewhere on profile page? The reason is, now a days we are facing too many requests for the same [Example is just below this post].
Further, if member is no more interested here, why not to release him? We can have confirmation email as a security check. What you think?
